Revealed: Best national football teams

Today the Orange Football Federation (OFF) released their first regional rank table of the top teams.

The ranking is decided by a points based system whereby nations receive 3 points for every victory, 1 for every draw and -1 for every loss.

Here is the official December 2022 OFF Regional Rank:

FRS remains at the top of the table, having only lost 1 match in the past few months- the final of the Orange Cup.

Brunholl has risen dramatically up the table, from 6th place before the Orange Cup, to 2nd now. FRS and Brunholl are set to remain at the top of the table for the foreseeable future, according to OFF projections.

Meanwhile, Maricoen is in a downward trend, having fallen from 2nd to 3rd, and set to fall to 5th within the next month.

Niater is another nation that has climbed the table, from 7th place to 4th place, largely thanks to their successful Orange Cup campaign this month. Niater also has a positive outlook, as they are set to rise to the 3rd best team in the region.

However, Meercovo and Zanjact have both fallen from grace, both dropping two places, mainly due to the success of other nations. Yet both nations look set to fall even further, to 7th and 8th respectively.

Mardata is racing up the table, from 11th to 8th, and likely to rise to 4th within the next month. Zeiling is also rising and is set to be 6th.

New Jabanese is falling considerably, and in the space of 2 months will have fallen from 5th to 13th.

Oranjehaven and Patec, nations who had disappointing OC campaigns, are likely to begin their recovery and hold onto their places.

TOO is set to also rise considerably into 9th place.

The Orange Football Federation says its ranking will be released around every month to two months. The OFF says that while FRS is still first and is likely to remain there for the time being, the rise of other footballing superpowers such as Brunholl, Niater and Mardata means that they unlikely to hold 1st place by the next Orange Cup.
