Parties in struggle over parliament proposals

With the ODU, PSD and TNO all submitting different proposals for a parliament, the parties are in a major struggle to gather support for their ideas.

Three separate proposals as to how the Parliament can be reformed have now been proposed by the major parties:

  1. ODU- the ODU wants to abolish the parliament completely, and return to what it calls "one nation, one vote". You can view the ODU proposal here: ODU proposal

  2. TNO- TNO wants a bicameral (two parts) parliament, with a lower Chamber of Citizens and upper Hall of Nations. You can view TNO's proposal here: TNO proposal

  3. PSD- the PSD also wants a bicameral parliament, with a lower House of Representatives and an upper Senate. You can view the PSD proposal here: PSD Proposal

However, the ODU has claimed that the PSD and TNO are "selling the same product, just with different packaging". The ODU is adamant that the best proposal is to have no parliament at all.

Meanwhile, the PSD has launched a strong defence of its proposal, with a PSD spokesperson stating:

"The complex system is there solely as a safeguard and democratic process, whilst the bill can be amended, the Parliament of Orange is designed to give nations a fair go and the opposite experience. Why? This technically is still 1-nation, 1-vote."

The ODU criticised this explanation as being "nonsensical" while TNO claimed it would support the ODU proposal if it is the first to come to a poll.

But the bigger question is what do the citizens of TOO want? The three parties are "acting in their own interests" according to one source, while other nations claim to be "sick" of the endless debates between the parties.
